The Nursery Checkin System is an Android app that implements check-in and check-out system for church nurseries. Parents register their child (or children) with the app, then check in their child when they leave them in the nursery and check out the child when they take them out of the nursery. The app sends a text message to parents when a child is checked in our out. Nursery attendants can also send a text message to parents while the child is in the nursery to communicate with them.
NCIS was created to replace "pager" systems for nurseries. As pager systems have aged and are expensive to update, NCIS with used tablets can be a less expensive alternative.
